Simpsons quotes[edit]

You've been removing a few quotes from The Simpsons from other articles - is there a particular reason for this? Fys. “Ta fys aym”. 10:56, 5 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Noel Gallagher and Oasis[edit]

I wonder if you could explain why you're removing content from Noel Gallagher rather than creating a separate article for Oasis? It is usual practice in Dictionaries of Quotations to list quotes from song lyrics under their author, and in fact that's what Wikiquote normally does if there is a single author identifiable. For example, John Lennon includes some lyrics written by Lennon for songs recorded by The Beatles and credited to 'Lennon/McCartney' where it is known that the song was primarily the work of Lennon on his own. I hope you don't want to pursue the line that it is "vandalism" to put the quotes back. By some readings of the policy, it is vandalism to remove them. Perhaps we can sort this out by discussion? Blanking talk pages[edit]

Please don't blank either article talk pages or your own page if it contains warning notices. You can choose to delete talk page messages by other users, although it's generally considered rude to do so. However if they are an attempt to resolve an editing dispute, removing the notices is often considered as a good reason to cease "assuming good faith". Really, it's up to you how you respond, but bear in mind that your first edits to Jimbo Wales were straightforward vandalism. Fys. “Ta fys aym”. 14:25, 5 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Block warning; helpful links[edit]

You have thus far engaged in clear vandalism, removing quotes from pages without explanation, removing quotes described as "vandalism" which were actually simple content disputes, and deleting article talk page posts from other users. You have not responded to any concerns posted about these apparent bad-faith edits, but have instead removed these concerns and warnings from your talk page, signalling a lack of interest in discussing these issues. I must conclude that you are not interested in community participation. If you engage in more of this bad-faith editing, I will block this account temporarily.

Here are some links that are recommended reading to work well within the Wikiquote community:

I would hope and prefer that we could gain your cooperation and helpful participation. Thank you. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 07:06, 6 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Block notice[edit]

This user account has been blocked for 1 week for repeated blanking of pages and removal of material without explanation, even after being warned not to do this. Further unexplained apparent bad-faith edits may result in longer blocks. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 17:23, 23 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You seem like a vandal, but I still think you deserve a formal welcome:
