The Godfather Part II[edit]

Hi Jjjakegittes, I want to inform you that your recent contributions to the The Godfather Part II article unfortunately are in violation of the quote limit, which is set for Wikiquote articles like this because of copyright concerns, see also Talk:The Godfather Part II. For this reason your contributions will probably be undone (like before). Maybe you have missed that your contributions to the article has been trimmed before (twice), see also here. If you want to make further changes to an article like this, you might consider to just propose the changes on the talk-page first and wait for feed-back. -- Mdd (talk) 18:47, 5 January 2013 (UTC)

Hi. I have undone the new contributions you made to this article following Wikiquote:Limits_on_quotations#Films. -- Mdd (talk) 23:06, 5 January 2013 (UTC)

Elia Kazan[edit]

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Elia Kazan, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but it may not satisfy Wikiquote's criteria for inclusion, for the reasons given in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikiquote is not" and Wikiquote's deletion policy).

You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Votes for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Citing "quoted by"[edit]

Hi Jjjakegittes. I rewrote some citations you posted at Elia Kazan and Stella Adler, because you don't need to say "quoted by" when citing a work the author wrote himself. That makes it look like it is someone else quoting the author.

Also, please identify the edition (date) and page of the source. Better source citations will help to avoid preemptory proposals for deletion. Thank you. ~ Ningauble (talk) 19:47, 22 January 2013 (UTC)
