West Side Story (Musical)[edit]
An article you created, West Side Story (Musical), has been both tagged as a likely copyright violation and nominated for deletion. Most works of art produced in the U.S. after 1923 are subject to copyright restrictions for many decades unless the copyright holders have waived them, and at least two editors believe this not to be the case for West Side Story. Wikiquote is devoted to providing pithy excerpts of notable material, and is not allowed to incorporate entire texts. Diane von Furstenberg[edit]
I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Diane von Furstenberg, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but it may not satisfy Wikiquote's criteria for inclusion, for the reasons given in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikiquote is not" and Wikiquote's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Votes for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Kiwiboy1221. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Kiwiboy1221~enwikiquote that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
