Buffy quotes[edit]

I want to thank you for all the quotes you've been contributing to Buffy the Vampire Slayer recently. I don't know if you've noticed, but I've been tweaking many of them shortly after you add them. I hope you don't take offense to this, but Buffy is one of the two quote pages I shepherd rather closely to ensure accuracy and a uniform style. I'm way behind on accuracy checks, but I try to make style changes as soon as they come up. In your case, I've been adding periods to the context lines. It's trivial, I know, but that's part of the minuitae of copyediting. Could I impose upon you to add the periods when you add your quotes? Anyway, whether you do or not, I appreciate the substantial work you've done. — Jeff Q (talk) 07:41, 31 Mar 2005 (UTC)

No problem - thanks for correcting me! And I'm not offended in the slightest - corrections are just a way of telling me I need to be more throrough, especially as concerns formatting and setting quotes in context. And I'll look more closely for periods in context lines :-) — QuantumEleven 14:53, 12 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Rassle vs. wrestle[edit]

Hi. I have undid your "spelling fix" in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and added a comment (you will have to open the section in edit mode to see it) for the rationale behind using rassle. In a nutshell: Buffy intentionally uses the "rassle" pronounciation, making fun of Faith, and does not prnounce it wrestle. This is important in this case, as it gives a slightly different "atmosphere" to the quote. Thanks ~ MosheZadka (Talk) 12:19, 7 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, right, gotcha. Sorry! Thanks for checking up after my work! :) — QuantumEleven 13:32, 7 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
