Wikiquote talk:Quote of the day/February 1, 2005
Add topicI replaced the quote posted from IP 69.240.131.156:
"Here's to The Drunken Clam, boys, where they don't ask for proof of age and neither do I." ~ Glen Quagmire
Though it might be slightly humorous, I am strongly inclined to believe that this particular quote, that makes light of lewd sub-juvenile interest in juveniles, is hardly a great choice for quote of the day, now or ever, whether said by a cartoon character or a real one. There are new options being developed for selecting the Quote of the Day, but until they are established I will continue making the selections personally, and believe that admins should always continue to be responsible for whatever final selections are made for any particular date. Further ideas are presented on the Wikiquote talk:Quote of the day page. ~ Kalki 23:11, 31 Jan 2005 (UTC)
