Mutant X

Mutant X is a science fiction television series that debuted on October 6, 2001. The show was created by Avi Arad, and it centers on Mutant X, a team of "New Mutants" who possess extraordinary powers as a result of genetic engineering. The members of Mutant X were used as test subjects in a series of covert government experiments. The mission of Mutant X is to seek out and protect their fellow New Mutants. The series was filmed in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Season 1

Adam: Cause I'm not gonna admit that, and you shouldn't even think it.

Brennan: I don't believe you Adam. You don't even believe yourself. I fought for you and what you stood for. But what you did to us... Adam, I accepted my fate and I made it my own, but you lied to us. I'm not doing it your way anymore.

Adam: Listen I can help you. I just don't want to put you in anymore danger. Now why can't you understand that? I am not gonna let you die.

Brennan: It's too late. Okay, I'm sorry, I've got something I've gotta do.

Adam: Anything you do you put yourself in danger. Do you understand that?

Brennan: The reality is, Adam, I got nothing to lose.

Brennan: Keep your eye out for the trade commissioner. According to Adam he has a serious eye for the ladies.

Shalimar: I assume that's why I was the one wearing this dress.

Brennan: Trust me - you in that dress is always a good idea.

Shalimar: Why don't we just coat ourselves in BBQ sauce for that thing?

Brennan: Emma, it's good to have morals, but you've got to know when to cut them loose.

Shalimar: Excuse me?

Nicky: Shalimar.

Shalimar: What's going on here?

Brennan: Nothing.

Shalimar: Stay outta this Brennan. [to nicky]I think you overstayed your wellcome.

Nicky: I'm sorry?

Shalimar: No, I'm sorry. Time for you to get your things and get outta here. You are wearing my clothes in my room trying to take over my life. Now, get the hell out!

{others run to Shalimar and Nicky]

Adam: Shalimar....get ahold of yourself.

Nicky: This is useless. Just give it up.

Shalimar: You're right, Nicky.

Nicky: Smart girl.

Shalimar: I'd like to think so.

[they fight and Shalimar wins]

Adam: Shalimar?

Shalimar: I had to. She tried to kill me.

Brennan: It's okay. We believe you. You okay?

Shalimar: Yeah.

Emma: It's okay, Shal.

Lexa: We need to find Adam The only way to cure Jessie is with an antidote.

Shalimar: Yeah, but sanctuary is gone. The helix is gone. The Dominion...

Brennan: No, they think they won. It's not over yet.

[the building explodes]

Jesse: We'll be if we don't move. Come on.
