This user is no longer active on the Simple English Wikiquote. Today, I want to the funeral of a young boy who was not yet 1-year-old at the time of his death. In fact, Wednesday, June 10, 2009 was both his funeral, and his first birthday. His story is one of the most impacting I've ever heard, and I was able to witness it in person. It is truly a tribute to God's power, believe me or not. At his funeral, I was able to see some of my best friends, and we had very good discussions.

God has been showing me what a hindrance to my walk with Him that Wikipedia is, mostly because I've spent so much time on it. I would tell myself, "I'll just be on it less," and forget about it. But it is just not slowing down, so I need to stop altogether. God needs to be first in my life, and I need to focus more on Him. The discussions we today have impacted my decision greatly.

To you all, I enjoyed many aspects on my time here and on other Wikimedia projects. I met a lot of wikifriends, to which I will miss.
