The Shnookums and Meat Funny Cartoon Show is an American animated television series that aired from April 4, 1995 until June 15, 2001 on The Disney Afternoon. The series depicts the life of Shnookums, An orange cat and meat, A blue dog.

Season 1

Dog Gone / what a good game [1.1]

Meat: Hey, look snookums! I made us a bed! This is the bed where we could sleep at snoozed!

Shnookums: Are you crazy, meat? That is Poison ivy!

[He looks over to me, who is having a cast on his leg at his broken arm] What are you looking at? You two aren’t even fit for baseball’ [He tosses that outside, where they are in the sidewalk waiting for their owners to pick them up]

Meat: [crying over not being able to Play baseball correctly]

Shnookums: Don’t cry, pal. We can find a new job. Marketing, Fish restaurant…

Meat: [In anger] I don’t even eat fish anyways!

The adventures of stinky dog! / Hey, cat on the news [1.2]

[Meat Is relaxing in the tub with mud being used for a muddy bath]

Shnookums: Meat, How about we just go to the sprinklers and you’ll be much dicer and cleaner there?

Meat: Hey! Doesn’t anybody knock anymore?

The Island / Sham Meat [1.3]

Meat: i’m sorry that I have lost my appetite. Guess I’m just gonna stick to eating dog food for now.[Looks at Shnookums, which is watching from afar, thinking about money. He walks over to him and grabbed him by the throat] Hey, what are you looking at?

Shnookums: Nothing. Put me down and be a perfect dog, please.

Ballonatics / there is no place like gnome [1.4]

Ssnookums: ‘’[After he discovers meet off the air, flag balloon, he looks at the screen, breaking the fourth wall before gulping]’’ Could somebody please tell me that he can lay it on his feet?

Meat: Sorry about all of the hullabaloo. Save me, and then we could have a piece of cake afterwards with your favorite cat tuna

Shnookums: Don’t worry! Catania is on the way to save stinky dog! P-U! How did he get all the way up there?

Like dog, like mouse / what a cool day [1.5]

Meat: The mice go marching one by one hurrah hurrah, the mice go marching one by….

Shnookums: Can you go a little faster so I could have my meal?!

I had a dream /What’s for dinner? [1.6]

’’’Shnookums’’’: Hey. What just happened here? Were we dreaming?

’’’Meat’’’: Why, I had such a lovely nap. Wait a minute, I’m not great anymore!

’’’Shnookums’’’: Did we just dream about Pocahontas?

’’’Meat’’’: Or probably we just dreamed about squash. Bleh!

‘’[After a failed attempt of cooking mutton, Cubs attempts to make roast beef out of various means]’’

’’’Meat’’’: Hey, I just found a cookbook! It says how to cook a turkey: You just find a turkey, trap, get some delicious food for Thanksgiving, the chicken with some pumpkin pie, then afterwards you put the turkey in the oven and then you cook it!

’’’Shnookums’’’: Hey! Can’t you see I trying to cook here?

‘’[Confused, turds around a discovers the smell of roast beef. After he takes a second sniff, his face turns green]’’

’’’Shnookums’’’: You see.. My roast beef will be the most loveliest you have ever tasted! ‘’[Meat Jumps out of the window to a bush to barf]’’ have you not tasted my roast beef yet?

’’’Shnookums’’’: so we went through all that just to cook dinner?!

’’’Meat’’’: Yummy! I love Takeaway! I’m ready to eat the noodles and onion rings!

Tales of the stew / Beware of the Catania! [1.7]

’’’Meat’’’: Mmmmm…. Just one pile of beef stew and they’ll be all full like rock candy.

’’’Shnookums’’’: ‘’(Tied to a meat find out that he was the one that buried him in the pit)’’ Oooh! Meet, give me a handful of mail and toss it to jujutsu!

Poodle panic / It’s a wonderful cat [1.8]

Meat: [After bouncing between flag holes, crashing into boats, and tumbling down Rocky Hillside, He looks stunted before looking at poodle, who is unharmed] Well, I’ll be a dog bouncing like a happy Jabberwocky! Really nice poodle after all! Just wait till like catch a look on that orange cat face!

Shnookums: H-h-how Can that be?! Where is everybody?

Snickerdoodles: Well, they all left this earth, just a search for a better life. This factory, who had delicious rock, candy shaped as diamonds, is selling Manure for unfair charges. The baseball field right here, it doesn’t have any baseball and his only making gray old shaped balls that don’t have any flavor in them. And remember Cushion? Well, it’s just dustball around the house, Where you can only play with for the rest of your life. So, looks like you’ve got what you wanted.

Shnookums: Huh! Why, why, why?! I never asked for any of this! Snickerdoodles, you said that the grass was greener on the other side, but it’s not anymore! What happened to me? Did he go with them?

Snickerdoodles: Why, He didn’t. He stayed behind, doing nothing but standing here on this empty statue side of a man thinking, where he is just saddened that everything he has ever ever wanted is ruined.

Shnookums : Why?! Now standing here in his 40s, looking at riverbeds stones and doing nothing but thinking like that man over there? I never asked for any of this. You better take me back to the present! This place is giving me the creeps! This is worse than dung lap peak!

Snickerdoodles: Oop! My boss needs me. Well, you’re on your own and your future now. Bye-bye kitty cat I mean bye-bye Pussycat.

Snookums: Don’t leave me! I got so much to do! What about playing baseball! What about running in those dirty fields like a pussycat does! Don’t leave me here just tell me tell me! I do anything you want if it is ‘’anything’’ Meat wants! No! Come back! Noooooooooo!!!!

Hog on the farm / Poodle and meat [1.9]

Meat: Hey, look! Look how tasty this thing is! It’s called pig chow!

Shnookums: hey, This comfy bag fit for a cat!

Farmer: All right, John, hoisted up! [The truck leaves while the pigs are relaxing and jumping in a swimming pool]

Shnookums: Wait, half a minute. The farmers are leaving, so are they leaving the pigs here? Where are the cows? Where are the chickens where I feast on their eggs? Whatever happened to them….? Oh, I don’t wanna be here anymore! I wanna go home! Oh papa!

Meat: Wow, I love pig chow! It’s with roast beef, blueberry pie, raspberry pie, And Rhubarb Pi two! This form is the best!

Escape From the Deep End / The Collector [1.10]

Cat: Rules are the backbone for a civilized community pool.

[When Dunglap reaches the top of the mountain before CatDog...]

Reporter Bird: And we have just gotten word that the mayor has renamed the mountain... "Dunglap's Peak"!

Cat: [horrified] "Dunglap's... Peak"?! [starts crying] But I wanted it to be renamed "Cat Mountain"...!!! [bawls hysterically]

Dog: Cat, look at the bright side. Mindy isn't better than you anymore. Dunglap is.
