Cat Dog: The great crossing is a 2024 3D family action comedy film directed by Brad Peyton. The film It’s about a cat and a dog who team up on a 100 mile journey to reunite with their owners after getting subway near an airport. The film stars James Marsden, Christina Applegate, Katt Williams, Nick Nolte, Bette Midler, Neil Patrick Harris, Wallace Shawn and Sean Hayes. The film was released on March 9, 2024 on Netflix and was met with mixed reviews.

Dialogue[edit]

Chi Chi: hey, is this where are the cars go and all of the planes with by and all of the money goes wrong?
Cat: Cars don’t fly, they zoom. Planes fly, they don’t just landed on a rotary. Now, will you be quiet so that I can Fix my bended tail?!!
Seamus: Ooooh! Molasses! Give me a dose or something because I already feel sick.
Chi Chi: I would warn you never to eat that. But sitting on a high chair and tasting, it can be a safe measure.
[Cat wants to prove that she can swim across the frozen lake]
Chi Chi: No, cat. You know that breaks under your feet. Hate water.
Cat: But I can prove I can. I could try to jump from across to getting a frostbite. Now sit back and watch and try to go on your belly. Getting across can be the worst..
[Cat Begins crossing the lake while Chi stays behind and begins slowly crawling on his belly. Almost there, when all of a sudden she accidentally slips and the ice breaks between her feet, causing her to plunge into the water with a splash]
Chi Chi: CAT!! Don’t worry, I’ll save you! ‘’[Across the ice, he grabs onto one uprooted piece of ice. He almost injured his paw, though he is able to stand up correctly. The uprooted icicle tips sending Cheech Chi falling into the water. He looks around, But is unable to see cat near the clouded water. Taking a deep breath, he dives in and begins swimming towards cat. Grabbing her with her collar, he emerges to the surface, holding her and paddling to the shore]’’ It’s OK, I got you.
Seamus: Oh, it’s not worth it being with you.
Peter: idiot! You remind me of Jacquees! Oh Jacquees!
Chi Chi: Guys, help me!
Seamus: The cat!
Peter: Oh, no. Don’t worry, I will bring her back back with the kiss of life. ‘[Reaching down to her, immediately changes his mind and wipes the slobber off of his lips]’ Phtooey! I hate it when I think I’m a prince.

‘[Dog begins, pressing her stomach to get the water out and begins doing CPR. He looks over to her, worried while Seamus and Peter are teeth, chattering. Then a cat wakes up coughing and looks over a dog managing a weak smile]’

Cat: You, you saved me. I thought I was a goner.
Chi Chi: Well, I am a good dog anyways. I’ve been trained for slimming lessons. I mean, swimming lessons. ‘[A cat began to laugh]’
Chi Chi: This is perfect! Starting a family, it’ll be amazing!
