If there is any Spiritualist under the stars who believes that the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses from all sin, and if I can find one who does, I am willing to apologize for all that I have said. I have never met one yet.

Amzi Clarence Dixon (July 6, 1854 – June 14, 1925) was a Baptist pastor, Bible expositor, and evangelist, popular during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. With R.A. Torrey he edited an influential series of essays, published as The Fundamentals (1910–15), which gave fundamentalist Christianity its name.

Quotes[edit]

Heresies Exposed by William C. Irvine (3rd Edition, 1921)[edit]

  • Do you believe in the atoning work of the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation? Do you believe that the atoning blood removes the guilt of sin from the sin-stained soul? Ask the medium that. I have been asking that question all over the world for forty years: if there is any Spiritualist under the stars who believes that the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses from all sin, and if I can find one who does, I am willing to apologize for all that I have said. I have never met one yet.
