Often incorrectly attributed to Faith Whittlesey, Ann Richards (who said it in a 1988 speech), or to Ginger Rogers herself, but the official Ginger Rogers Website attributes it to Thaves. The quote is often given as "Ginger Rogers did everything Fred Astaire did, except backwards and in high heels."
