Edward Sell (priest)

Canon Edward Sell (January 24, 1839 – February 15, 1932) was an Anglican orientalist, writer, and missionary in India.

• The Hadd, a punishment based on a Zahir, or obvious sentence of the Quran requires that a Muslim who apostatizes shall be put to death.
