Manipur

Manipur is a state in northeastern India, with the city of Imphal as its capital. It is bounded by Nagaland to the north, Mizoram to the south, and Assam to the west; Myanmar lies to its east. Meitei people are the predominant ethnic group of Manipur state, whose foundation is credited to the Meitei civilization, having Meitei language as its medium of arts, literature, philosophy, sports among the different vital elements.
