Quantum of Solace is a 2008 film in which James Bond, seeking revenge for the death of his love, sets out to stop an environmentalist from taking control of a country's valuable resource.

  • How much do you know about Bond, Camille? Because he's rather a tragic case... His MI6 file says he's difficult to control; a nice way of saying that everything he touches seems to wither and die.

Greene: I can try. Tell me you didn't drop by tonight just to piss on my parade. Why are you still after this general's head? For your mantel?

Camille: Tell me when you do. I'd like to know how it feels.
Camille: Friend of yours?
Bond: I don't have any friends.
Tanner: He says Slate was a dead end.
M: Damn! He killed him.
M: If you could avoid killing every possible lead, it would be deeply appreciated.
Bond: Yes, ma'am. I'll do my best.
M: I've heard that before.

James Bond: Let you go?
Dominic Greene: I answered your questions. I told you what you wanted to know about Quantum.
James Bond: Yes you did. And your friends'd know that, so my guess is they're probably looking for you. But the good news is, you're in the middle of a desert. Here. [throws down a can of motor oil] I bet you make it twenty miles before you consider drinking that. Goodbye, Mr. Greene.
Dominic Greene: Please, my friends call me Dominic.
James Bond: I'm sure they do.
