Soad Hosny (Egyptian Arabic: سعاد حسنى, pronounced [soˈʕæːd ˈħosni]; 26 January 1943[1] – 21 June 2001) was an Egyptian actress born in Cairo. She was known as the "Cinderella of Egyptian cinema".
