It seems that there's some question as to whether this film is really a comedy or a drama. Some of the quotes would suggest that it's a comedy (Clifford Stern's in particular), but, in my opinion, the plot of the film would suggest otherwise. Virtually all the comedy in the film comes from that character, and it's all of a sad and self-deprecating nature. The Judah character (who I would argue is the most important character in the film) is presented in a very serious light, as is Dolores and all the minor characters (with the notable exception of the Lester character). Interestingly, many reviewers seem to be somewhat split on this. What does everybody else think? -- Gestrin 07:18, 29 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

I've checked, and wikipedia seems to intentionally lack an idea on the genre of the film. I am changing it into "Category:Films". ~ MosheZadka (Talk) 08:37, 29 August 2005 (UTC)Reply
