Usage[edit]

This template is used to tag the talk page of articles with persistent copyvio problems. Its main use is for a quick reference by pruning editors, and as a simplified place to point editors to when they attempt to add too much content to an article.

{{quotation limit|type=}}

Required paramaters[edit]

  • type (or first unnamed parameter) – identifies the type of work that is the article's subject. Supported types are:
    • film
    • tv
    • spoken
    • game
    • album
    • book
    • netvideo

Optional parameter[edit]

  • length – how many pages, how long episodes are, how long the film is, etc
  • section – if anything is specified (even "no"), it will change the text from "The subject of this article" to "A section of this article". Handy for serial works such as TV episodes, or pages that may have Fair Use content blended with free use content.

Examples[edit]

  • using all parameters:
    {{quotation limit|type=film|length=230 minutes|section=yes}}
  • without naming the main parameter:
    {{quotation limit|book}}
