Illustration[edit]

One image is removed here, because I think the use of nazi propaganda images outside its context is potentially libelous. -- Mdd (talk) 22:09, 11 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

See Crystal Night. ~ DanielTom (talk) 22:15, 11 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
I guess there is a (similar) reason why that particular image, or any image like that, is not illustration that lemma either. -- Mdd (talk) 22:22, 11 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
From the song: "Marching so brave / Their hearts beat on boldly right / Their souls belong to those of the weak". Doesn't this refer to Nazi soldiers? In my interpretation, "the weak" are the Nazi leaders. Of course I could be wrong. But there's no question that the song is a rejection of Nazism. Anyway, I removed the verse. Re. the image, it is actually widely used – you can find it in Wikipedia's articles on Nazi Germany and Adolf Hitler, for example. ~ DanielTom (talk) 22:34, 11 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, I am beginning to understand, but I didn't make the connection before. Just to make myself clear: I don't object to the mentioning of the verse, or to the use of any images about the Crystal Night (for example with the last strophe), but I stick with my original comment. -- Mdd (talk) 22:55, 11 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
