To be translated[edit]

在逆贼等之意,徒谓本朝以满洲之君,入为中国之主,妄生此疆彼界之私,遂故为讪谤诋讥之说耳。不知本朝之为满洲,犹中国之有籍贯。大义觉迷录

The first quote 寧贈友邦,不與家奴 is a forgery and a lie. It is claimed by random internet trolls that Cixi said this after the Boxer Rebellion in 1901 to justify concessions to the foreigners, except that It was not even originally attributed to Cixi, Liang Qichao was the person who recorded the alleged quote, and he claimed that the Manchu Grand Secretary Gangyi was the one who said it during the Hundred Days Reform in 1898 to oppose new reforms by Kang Youwei and his people.

Gangyi encouraged the massacre and killing of foreigners (Japanese and westerners) so much that the foreigners put him on a death list of officials to be executed. In that light, the original quote attributed to him is likely also a forgery and was made up in Liang Qichao's imagination.

second quote 保大清不保中華 is also a massive lie, because the Qing and Manchu identified the Qing as China (Zhongguo), and even created the Manchu term Dulimbai Gurun as a direct translation of Zhongguo, regarding the Qing and China as one and the same. The Qing was referred to as China in the Manchu language version of Treaty of Nerchinsk and Kyakhta.

Third quote 朕以外國之君,主中國之事 allegedly by Yinzhen (Yongzheng Emperor) is fake, I can't find it any any Qing records but only on random internet forums. Name the text where that fake quote came from- I can name the exact text where I cite the following quote from Yongzheng:

Yongzheng even wrote 大义觉迷录 (dispelling rumors and setting the record straught) to argue against Han people who accused the Qing Emperors of being barbarian invaders who conquered China, and say that the Qing and Manchu are as much a part of China as the ancient sages Shun and King Wen, and that yi "barbarian", only referred to people's geographic origin, and not ethnicity, so therefore Manchus were not barbarian like Shun and King Wen even though they were called Yi, and that Manchu and Han are one family, and to promote Confucianism. In fact Yongzheng is regarded as one of the most assimilationist early Qing Emperors.

大义觉迷录

The seditious rebels claim that we are the rulers of Manchuria and only later penetrated central China to become its rulers. Their prejudices concerning the division of their and our country have caused many vitriolic falsehoods. What these rebels have not understood is the fact that Manchuria is for the Manchus the same as the birthplace is for the people of the central plain. Shun belonged to the Eastern Yi, and King Wen to the Western Yi. Does this fact diminish their virtues?

Fourth quote 朕乃夷狄之君,非中國之人 allegedly by Hongli (Qianlong Emperor) is also fake. It canot be found in any Qing text.

In this article Gang Zhao cites multiple Qing texts where Shunzhi, Kangxi, Yongzheng, and Qianlong all refer to the Qing as China 中國.

Fifth quote- Princess Der Ling was not even a Manchu- her father was a Han Chinese bannerman. She was not even a Princess, her father Yu Keng was simply an ambassador to France.
