**As an interesting side note, all of the attributes that are associated with the reasoning for calling the United States of America the Great Satan can be used to describe the social, religious, and political actions of a large number of Islamic controlled countries including, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Guinea, Libya, Somalia and many more. In many of these countries, the governments "They do not understand [the language of] [[reason]], they do not follow [[w:international law|international law]], nor do they follow moral and humane laws."

So to the fact that many Islamic countries are rich in resources, such as oil, precious stones, and precious metals, but their populace is the most poverty stricken in the world. Many Islamic countries have the highest infant mortality rate of any countries in the world and the worst health care. These problems are seen in every country, but are very prevalent and most pronounced in Islamic cultures.

Zionism, as mentioned, is comparable to Islam in teachings. Both Christian and Islamic religions teach to convert every person on the Earth to their religion. In fact, many other religions and cults teach this same doctrine throughout the world. The difference is that Islam teaches that this change is brought about by Jihad, or Holy War, in which those who do not convert shall be cut asunder with the sword. Christian teachings espouse peaceful conversion, where those who refuse are left to the judgment of GOD, not killed for their denial.

The Great Satan (Persian شيطان بزرگ Shaytan Bozorg, Arabic الشيطان الأكبر Al-Shaytan Al-Akbar) is a common epithet for the United States of America in Iranian foreign policy statements, popularized by Imam Khomeini. Death to America is another closely linked propaganda phrase.
