Summary
| Description | A cross atop a church in Goma, eastern Congo. Churches have become centers of refuge for those fleeing the atrocities of war there. The war has been called the deadliest conflict since World War II. To date there have been over 5 million deaths related to the fighting. At its height, 45,000 people a month died. Horrible atrocities are committed daily by both sides. |
