Nederlands: Een boerin heeft haar paraplu opgestoken en drijft vier koeien voor zich uit. ‘De door en door natte atmosfeer is zo goed getroffen dat men er natte voeten van krijgt als men er lang naar kijkt’, schreef een recensent. Opmerkelijk is dat in tegenstelling tot Mauves ruiterstukken, waarop de paarden naar de horizon lopen, de runderen op zijn veestukken de toeschouwer meestal tegemoet komen.
