RUBYE DE REMER was born in Denver, Colorado, and made her first professional appearance with the famous Ziegfeld Follies. Educated in Denver, captivating Miss de Remer soon found the lure of the stage too great to resist, and after her Follies engagement, was featured on Broadway in musical comedy. In 1917, Rex Beach cast her for a prominent role in the "The Auction Block," and her fame as a screen star was established. She has demonstrated her ability to portray emotional or comedy roles, and has always been a great favorite with thousands of "fan" friends. She spends her leisure time traveling, being addicted to the wanderlust, while she also possesses a remarkable kennel of police dogs to which she devotes much time. She has golden hair and blue eyes, weighs 118 lbs., and is 5 feet 4 inches in height.
