DescriptionTIKI crewman William Rodarmor aboard the ketch in Tahiti in 1971.jpg
English: 1971 photograph of a smiling William Rodarmor in fisherman’s cap aboard Tiki.
Quitting the law to sail the South Pacific was a major turning point in Rodarmor’s life. En route from Panama to Tahiti, the skipper of the Tiki taught him how to navigate using a sextant – a skill Rodarmor found useful when he sailed solo from Tahiti to Hawaii.
