Philip Oakey (born October 2, 1955, in Hinckley, UK), aka Phil Oakey, is a British pop singer who rose to fame in the late 1970s, early 1980s as a founder member and lead singer of the Sheffield-based synthpop group The Human League, a group which continues today.
