Template:Minor

From Wikiquote

Don’t forget to mark your edits as minor when (and only when) they genuinely are minor edits (see Wikipedia:Minor edit). Marking a major change as a minor one is considered poor etiquette (and vice versa). The rule of thumb is that only an edit that consists solely of spelling corrections, formatting and minor rearranging of text should be flagged as a 'minor edit'. Thanks!

Template usage notes
  • Wikiquote does not yet have specific guidance on adding many templates to user pages, but follows Wikipedia practice when appropriate. Wikipedia-specific advice may be found at index of test templates. Please review this advice before using any template on user talk pages to warn a user. Applying the best template available for your purpose may help reduce confusion from the message you are sending.
  • Please remember to substitute the template using {{subst:Minor}} instead of {{Minor}}.
