[edit]- That old darling of mine is like a 90 some Chevy
She rides just right when you turn her on
The only thing that sounds better than that old 350
Is when she's running up to kiss me
When I get home, it's been a hard day- Oliver Anthony, "90 Some Chevy" (2023), released through Oliver Anthony Music
- We can take her nice and slow
A case of beer and it's hell cold
Let the sun sing, good Lord
There ain't no telling where we'll go
In the back of that 90 some Chevy- Oliver Anthony, "90 Some Chevy" (2023), released through Oliver Anthony Music

[edit]- Fire red T-Bird made me look a little out of style
As I sit there in Daddy's old Bel Air
Lined up for the quarter mile
Everybody from the high school
Showed up and gathered round
I was scared to death and praying to myself

And we both stepped on the gas
We were running neck and neck
When we reached the overpass
He was pushing that T-Bird
And I heard it make an awful sound
I just laughed and I patted the dash
And said "Chevy don't let me down"- Jeff Bates, 2nd verse of "Chevy Don't Let Me Down", Jeff Bates (2008), written by Jeff Bates, Ben Hayslip, & Jimmy Yeary
- Don't let me down,
That steady old Chevy has seen me happy and seen me sad
We cruised through a lot of good times
And rolled out the bad
It'll never see a "For Sale" sign as long as I'm around
Yeah, friends may come, and friends may go, but that Chevy don't let me down.- Jeff Bates, chorus of "Chevy Don't Let Me Down", Jeff Bates (2008), written by Jeff Bates, Ben Hayslip, & Jimmy Yeary
- And I wouldn't trade ol' Leroy
Or my Chevrolet for your Escalade
Or your freak parade
I'm the only John Wayne left in this town- Big & Rich, "Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy), Horse of a Different Color (2004), written by Big Kenny & John Rich

[edit]- Remember how you used to say, can't stay up late? A minute later and we're older now, I can't stay awake: I'm driving by your parent's farm in the Chevrolet, I remember that rusty car like it was yesterday.

[edit]- Dashing through the snow
In my Rusty Chevrolet
Down the road I go
Sliding all the way
I need new piston rings
I need some new snow tires
My car is held together
By a piece of chicken wire- Da Yoopers, "Rusty Chevrolet", Culture Shock (1987), written by Jim DeCaire & Joe Potila
- Oh, rust and smoke, the heater's broke
The door just blew away
I light a match to see the dash
And then I start to pray
The frame is bent, the muffler went
The radio, it's okay,
Oh what fun it is to drive
