Doria Shafik

Doria Shafik (14 December 1908 – 20 September 1975) was an Egyptian feminist, poet and editor, and one of the principal leaders of the women's liberation movement in Egypt in the mid-1940s.[1] As a direct result of her efforts, Egyptian women were granted the right to vote by the Egyptian constitution.
