Quotes
[edit]- I will not cut my Dreds because the fruits of independence have not been enjoyed by the people who sacrificed the most.
- As quoted in the article MUTHONI WA KIRIMA: MY HAIR, MY HISTORY [1] by Umazi Mvurya; published on April 13, 2018.
- Some fighters are alive, but live in squalor. They are handicapped, blind, sick, beggars and squatters because nobody shared with them what we fought for. They sacrificed to unchain Kenya, but they were left poorer.
- As quoted in the City News article of The Standard By James Mwangi | 5 years ago.
- Up to date, the country is in the hands of collaborators. They are only concerned about their wealth and not the interest of the masses. Everything they own today is because we fought for it. It’s sad that many of us are either dead or live in deplorable states. I prefer to keep quiet and watch things as they unfold.
