[edit]- [About child sex trafficking] It's already surpassed the illegal weapons trade, and soon it will surpass the drug trade. Do you know why? You can sell a bag of cocaine once. A 5-year-old child, you can sell them 5-10 times a day, for 10 years straight.
- Do you know there are 22 million new images of child porn on the Internet? That's up 5,000% from just 5 years ago. 5000%.
- God's children are not for sale.
- Never trust a pedophile.
- Only the courageous act rest are tyrannized by a legal system, made by cowardly men.
- Trust me, man. If we do nothing, their pain is gonna spread and spread till some day it's gonna reach the likes of you.
- I'm the sadness in her eyes. Me. When God tells you what to do, you cannot hesitate.
- Because you can sell a bag of cocaine one time. You can sell a five year-old kid five to ten times a day for ten years straight!
Vampiro
[edit]- When God tells you what to do, you cannot hesitate.
Katherine
[edit]- OK, so you quit your job, and you go rescue those kids.
Vampiro
[edit]- [After realizing the prostitute he slept with was 14] I picked up my .45, and I put it against my head, and I put my finger on the trigger. If there's ever a time to ask "Does God exist?", that was it.
Dialogue
[edit]- Vampiro: [about the kids singing and clapping after being rescued] Do you hear that? That's the sound of freedom.
- Tim: Amen.
- Tim: [Speaking Spanish] Miguel, I'm guessing you must be about 7 1/2, right?
- Miguel: Is this April?
- Tim: No, it's July, July 12th. Why?
- Miguel: Then I'm 8.
- Tim: It's funny because we all read history and we think, "Oh, I would have risen up, I would have fought, I would have been an abolitionist and tell them." No, you wouldn't have. If you would have, you'd be doing that right now. You know trafficking exists, you've heard of it, but you don't want to look.
- Vampiro: I think I may have to expand your mind to an entirely new reality.
- El Calacas: Okay?
- Vampiro: These gentlemen want to build a one-of-a-kind members-only club in Cartena. Annual fee: one hundred grand per member. [Which immediately intrigues El Calacas]
- Vampiro: They take care of the facility, we take care of the talent. And the members? They get a world-class resort with full access to models, 24/7, all you can eat, live-in models, young ones.
- El: How young?
- Tim: [enters] Shock me. Which one is this?
- Vampiro: El Calacas. [They laugh] He used to deliver escorts for Escobar. He sold me a chicken last year, nine years old.
- El Calacas: And she was... [makes appreciative gesture by kissing the tips of his fingers]
