Summary and Conclusions[edit]
It is not difficult to summarize the upshot of the foregoing discussion and assess its impact. To wit: nil.
It may be less obvious how to assess whether the previous community exercise in strategic planning had any different impact on the resulting five year strategic plan. Hint: The planning exercise involved some 85,854 edits to 23,900 pages covering a wide range of issues, and the resulting strategic targets for the Wikimedia Foundation can be summarized in three words: bigger is better (specifically: more readers, more articles, more contributors, and more diversity; with a nod to more content review).
