A Simple Twist of Fate is a 1994 American drama film about a man whose life is emotionally closed off from the world, until an orphaned baby shows up at his house.

Directed by Gillies MacKinnon. Written by Steve Martin, loosely based on the 1861 novel Silas Marner by George Eliot.
