Ali Larijani

Ali Ardashir Larijani (3 June 1958 – 17 March 2026) was an Iranian politician, philosopher and military officer who served as secretary of the Supreme National Security Council from 15 August 2005 to 20 October 2007 and resumed this position in 2025. A former speaker of the Parliament of Iran (from 2008 to 2020), Larijani was killed during an Israeli airstrike.
