Alvin and the Chipmunks (1983 TV series)

Alvin and the Chipmunks is an American animated television series featuring The Chipmunks, produced by Bagdasarian Productions in association with Ruby-Spears Enterprises from 1983 to 1987, for the first five seasons, Murakami-Wolf-Swenson in 1988, for the sixth season, and DIC Entertainment from 1988 to 1990, for the final three seasons.

[First lines of the series]

Alvin: There's got to be something interesting.

Theodore: We could share my apple.

Simon: Too common, Theodore.

Theodore: Oh well, In that case... [bites the apple]

Dave: Boys, time to leave for school!

Alvin: There's nothing for show and tell.

[The Chipmunks run out of the room]

The Chipettes

[The Chipmunks enters the Chipettes' room by mistake]

Theodore: [off-screen] Alvin, Is that you?

The Chipettes: [scream off-screen]

[The Chipettes are first shown as Chipmunks jumped out of the bed]

Alvin: What are you doing here?!

Brittany: What are you doing in here?! This is our room!

Simon: This is the Chipmunks' room!

Jeanette: Precisely.

Theodore: Well, we have a concert here tomorrow night.

Eleanor: So do we, our first American concert.

Alvin: Oh yeah? We'll see about the manager has say about that.

[The Chipmunks run out of the room]

Brittany: This way, Eleanor.

Eleanor: Coming, Brittany! Come on, Jeanette.

[Jeanette runs after Brittany and Eleanor]

Brittany: Sir, would you please get these animals another room?

Simon and Theodore: "Animals"?

Alvin: Actually sir, it's these girls who need another room.

Receptionist: Oh, I'm sorry. You'll just have to share the room. You see, we're all booked up for the Chipmunk concert.

Chipmunks: That's us!

Chipettes: WE'RE the Chipmunks!

[Both groups argue]

Receptionist: Oh, wait...who's there? I don't care who the real Chipmunks are! I just want the best group for tomorrow's concert!

Brittany: That settles it! We'll sing for you tomorrow, and you decide who performs.

Alvin: And the winner keeps the Chipmunk name forever! Deal?

Brittany: Deal! [she and Alvin shake hands]

Snow Job

Theodore: Sorry Alvin, Sometimes my stomach kicks over.

Alvin: Never mind, just convince Colorado this time. I think he went into the Sauna.

[Alvin, Simon, and Theodore enter the Sauna, Dave is in here]

Simon: Alvin, I'm the president of your fan club.

[Simon and Theodore are sweaty]

Theodore: Alvin, I was president.

Simon: Whatever.

Bigger!

Brittany: This video stinks! [throws a rattle]

Alvin: It's... coming along great.

[Brittany throws the bottle]

Brittany: I want a new director!

Alvin: [sobs] This is harder than a thought. I don't feel good.

Funny, We Shrunk the Adults

[last lines of the series]

Alvin: [clear his throat] I think someone or someone else an apology.

Simon: Apology accepted.

[Simon leaves]

Alvin: Not me! You,... SIMON!

[The scene fades to black]

Brittany: Where are the police when you need them?

Theodore: Right behind us.

Alvin: When will I be on your show?

Robby Leach: When pigs fly!

Alvin: Does that mean this week or next week?

Brittany: [looks at the girl] You're not Bobby.
