C.H.U.D.
C.H.U.D. is a 1984 American post-apocalyptic science fiction action crime thriller film about the NYPD investigating the infestation of nuclear radiation induced mutants that inhabit the sewers and prey upon the human city residents. It was followed by the 1989 sequel C.H.U.D. II: Bud the C.H.U.D..

- Captain Bosch: How do you know that?
- A.J. 'The Reverend' Shepherd: I used to be a nuclear physicist... [Bosch glares at him incredulously] I saw it on TV.
- A.J. 'The Reverend' Shepherd: What are you trying to hide?... You saw it. You saw the monster!
- Wilson: Is that what you're going to tell the papers? That you're afraid of monsters?
- A.J. 'The Reverend' Shepherd: That's exactly what I'm gonna tell them if you don't fill me in.
