Giselle
[edit]- I know that change can be scary, but it can also be exciting.
- Let's start our new life.
- A land filled with adventure.
- Oh, Morgan I’m so sorry. I wished for a fairytale life and it’s all gone terribly wrong.
- You know, there's only room for one villain in this town.
- You are a true daughter of Andalasia. Because, you are my daughter Morgan.
Robert Philip
[edit]- If I learned anything from meeting a princess on a billboard, is that sometimes you just have to take a leap.
- Time to be heroes.
Prince Edward
[edit]- Congratulations on the increasing size of your progeny.
- If this world is not to your liking, then you must change it.
Malvina Monroe
[edit]- Something's going on with her, and I wanna know what.
- Oh, Giselle, what have you done?
- As you can see, Giselle, everyone has their place. Once you found where you fit, Monroeville can be whatever you wish.
- You're hilarious. Delusional, but hilarious.
Dialogue
[edit]- Pip: What if I told you ever after wasn’t the end of their story?
- Pip’s Child #1: Huh? But, we’ve heard this story a million times. That’s how it always ends.
[Pip places the "Enchanted" book back in the bookshelf and pulls out the "Disenchanted" book to read for his children]
- Pip: Uh-uh-uh. You’ve only heard part of the story, you see, it turns out New York wasn’t Giselle’s happily ever after at all. Well, I’m not too proud of my part in this one, but if you two get into bed, I’ll read it to you. This story begins where the old one left off. "In the kingdom of New York after ever after"…
- Pip’s Child #1: After? But, there is no "after" after "happily ever after".
- Pip’s Child #2: Yeah, you just got married then nothing ever happens to you again.
- Pip: Oh, well, not in this world. Over there, things would never stop happening. For Giselle, a few years went by. Morgan sprouted up, and eventually, Robert and Giselle had a baby, a beautiful girl named Sofia. And for one moment, Giselle truly had it all. And that’s when things began to change. First, with all the baby stuff, their castle in the sky shrunk two sizes and then, life got so busy, it felt like a sleeping curse every single night. But, the hardest part of all is Morgan, she entered a world what they call "a teenager". And it felt to Giselle like she had set out to a faraway place where she could never go. With so much change, Giselle started feeling maybe life in the kingdom of New York wasn’t such a fairytale after all. Then, she saw a sign and realized that their happily ever after might be somewhere else. So, Giselle & Robert began their quest for "a new happily ever after".
- Giselle: Robert.
- Robert: My sweet Giselle. You’ve come back to me.
[Giselle and Robert kissed and hugged]
- Giselle: I’m so sorry. I don’t want minions. Nancy! Where’s Edward?
- Nancy: He stayed behind to protect Andalasia.
- Giselle: Oh no.
- Nancy: Please, we have to hurry! The magic is disappearing! We have to stop this or everything Andalasian will die.
[Giselle, Robert, & Nancy both observed a portal to Andalasia where it’s beginning to collapse]
- Robert: And that means that you… will?
- Giselle: No. No, I… I can fix this.
- "Evil Queen": Stop! I wouldn’t if I were you.
[The "Evil Queen" has taken Morgan hostage and uses the vines to tie her up and uses a sleeping potion to incapacitate her]
- Giselle: Morgan!
- Tyson: Mother! What are you doing?
- "Evil Queen": Oh, relax, darling. It’s just a little sleeping incantation. Actually, it was only meant for Giselle, but this’ll do.
- Giselle: Malvina, you have to undo it!
- "Evil Queen": Oh, and I shall. Your helpful scroll explained at the last stroke of midnight, your wish is permanent. And I like this world. So, you’re going to drop that wand and let the clock strike, and then, she’ll be free.
- Giselle: But, if I do that, Andalasia dies.
- "Evil Queen": And if you don’t do it, she dies.
- Giselle: No!
- Robert: Cease, evil witch!
- "Evil Queen": Oh, Robert. Don’t you think you’re being a little harsh.
- Giselle: Malvina, please, this isn’t you.
- "Evil Queen": It is now. Just as YOU WISHED IT!
["Evil Queen" uses her magic to make the vines tie Morgan even more]
- Giselle: No!
[Giselle drops the Andalasian Wishing Wand, "Evil Queen" breaks the wand with her shoe, then releases & waking up Morgan]
- Giselle: Morgan.
["Evil Queen" picks up her crown and puts it on, mean while Giselle begins dying]
- Giselle: Oh! I feel weak!
- Robert: Giselle. Giselle.
- Morgan: What’s happening? Are you okay?
- Giselle: I don’t know.
[Giselle collapses on the ground with Giselle’s cottage emerging from Andalasia]
- Giselle: No!
- "Evil Queen": Isn’t it marvelous when two worlds come together in such harmony?
[The clock starts towing at midnight]
- Giselle: When the clock strikes twelve, the spell will be set.
- Robert: No! This is not how it ends.
- Tyson: I’m coming with you!
- Giselle: Robert.
[Robert & Tyson run to the clock tower]
- "Evil Queen": Some heroes.
["Evil Queen" uses her magic to make the throne go up and sits on it]
- Tyson: What do we do?
- Robert: It can’t strike midnight!
[Nancy sadly looks back at the portal to Andalasia where she sees Edward dying while he tries to reach out to her]
- "Evil Queen": It’s like a wish come true.
- Morgan: Please, hold on.
- Giselle: I’m so sorry. This is all my fault.
- Morgan: No, no, no. There has to be something else that we can do.
- Giselle: I just wish… That piece of wand. Grab it.
- "Evil Queen": Tick tock, tick tock!
[Both Robert and Tyson both use their swords to hold on to the clock to prevent it to strike midnight]
- Giselle: Morgan, you can’t break magic. Listen to me. You have to make a new wish, Morgan. My magic is almost gone.
- "Evil Queen": Oh, according to your droll little scroll, no one but a true Andalasian can use that broken piece of kindling. But, go for it.
- Morgan: She’s right. I can’t. I’m not a true daughter of Andalasia.
- Giselle: You are a true daughter of Andalasia. Because, you are my daughter, Morgan. And I’ll tell you, how I absolutely know. It’s how I’d make a world for you, that never breaks your heart, where you can grow and thrive, and your every wish can flower. I will always love you, Morgan. I’m so proud of how I know you’ll carry on. I’ve known a lot of magic in my life, but never anything as strong, Love Power. My love for you has power. And you’ll have it there inside you when I’m gone.
- Morgan: No. No.
- Giselle: My love will be there. Ever after… When I’m…
[Giselle begins dying]
- Morgan: No! No! No, no, no, no! What do I wish for? Please! Please don’t go! Please don’t leave me! Please!
[Pip begins dying]
- Pip: Giselle!
- Morgan: What do I wish for?
- "Evil Queen": Tick tock! Tick tock! Wait, where are the chimes? Why isn’t it midnight? Why isn’t it midnight?
["Evil Queen" finds the clock stop moving and begins using her abilities to make the clock work, while Morgan quickly takes the wand]
- Morgan: I wish I was home… with my mom.
[Morgan’s wish came true, while the clock tower shatters]
