Gordy is a 1995 American family comedy-drama film about a young American Yorkhsire piglet named Gordy who searches for his missing family (that was taken away to a slaughterhouse in Omaha) from their home farm in Hope Arkansas.

Narrator: [first lines] Nestled in the heartland of America, there's a place called Meadowbrook Farm. And on this farm, there lived a happy pig family. A father pig, a mother pig, and six little pigs.
Cousin Jake: Pigs are intelligent animals, and this one is real smart. Boy, I bet his I.Q. is as high as mine!
Luke MacAllister: Oh, poor thing!
Jinnie Sue McAllister: Well, hey, sleepy face! What are you doing under there?
[Gordy looks around in confusion]
Gordy: Where am I?
Jinnie Sue McAllister: You would have fell off the hog truck. [She glances toward the highway] There's no fashion to get you back to your mama...
Gordy: Mama? Have you seen her?
Jinnie Sue McAllister: Then I'm going to take care of you, and my name's Jinnie Sue.
Gordy: But I'm trying to find my mama... [Oh, why can't she understand him?]
[Jinnie Sue strokes his head]
Jinnie Sue McAllister: That's funny. I could swear I keep hearing you say "Mama".
[Gordy looks at her hopefully]
Gordy: People can understand animals if they take the time to listen...
[Jinnie Sue reaches down and picks him up]
Jinnie Sue McAllister: I always wanted a pet, but me and my daddy are on the road too much. That's what my daddy says anyhow. But you are so cute. He just has to let me keep you. Poor little lost piglet. What am I going to call you?
Gordy: My name is Gordy.
[She studies him for a moment]
Jinnie Sue McAllister: I know––Pinky!
Gordy: Blech! Pinky. What an awful name.
[Jinnie Sue cradles him in her arms and heads for the band camper parked nearby]
Jinnie Sue McAllister: Now let's just get you in pajamas. It's time for bed now.
[Inside the camper, she pulls a small pajama top over Gordy's head, but gives him an admiring look]
Jinnie Sue McAllister: Don't you look handsome in your pajamas! Now quit wiggling where I can say our prayers. Hello, Lord? This is Jinnie Sue.
[Gordy oinks softly. He is getting sleepy again]
Jinnie Sue McAllister: I'd like to thank you for this sweet pig. Bless Daddy. Bless the band. And bless Pinky's folks wherever they may be. Amen.
[Gordy utters a small whine as he thinks of his mother, father and the piglets. He hopes they are safe. He hopes he will find them soon]
Jinnie Sue McAllister: I know how you feel. I lost my mama since I was little...
[The door opens]
Jinnie Sue McAllister: Be silent! [She pulls a blanket over Gordy's head] My dad's coming.
Luke McAllister: Did my baby say her prayers?
Jinnie Sue McAllister: I surely did, Papa.
[Gordy wiggles under the covers. It is hot there and he has an itch on his back that he just has to scratch]
Luke McAllister: How come you're wiggling?
[Jinnie Sue puts her hand on Gordy to calm him and grins up at her father]
Jinnie Sue McAllister: I'm not wiggling, Papa. I'm cuddling.
Luke McAllister: Whatever you say, darling. You sleep tight now. We'll be driving all night. Tomorrow, we're booked at the governor's fundraiser. Give her a goodnight kiss. [He leans forward in the dark]
[Gordy pokes his nose out of the covers and nuzzles Luke with his snout]
Luke McAllister: That was a sweet kiss, darling.
[Jinnie sue shoves Gordy back under the covers]
Jinnie Sue McAllister: Night-night, Daddy.
Luke McAllister: Night-night, darling.
Gordy: Oink!
[Luke stops]
Luke McAllister: What the?
Jinnie Sue McAllister: I said, "goodnight"!
[The camper door closes behind Luke]
Jinnie Sue McAllister: Goodnight, Pinky. [She gives him a hug]
Gordy: Please, don't call me that. [His eyes close, and he also falls asleep]
Gilbert Sipes: Goodbye, Hero Pig! [Sipes then has an increasingly sinister look as his face is superimposed over scenes showing the package being mailed, sorted, and processed]
Jessica Royce: Gilbert, you promised to help me. How can you even ask me to compete with a pig?
Vinnie: [answering Hanky's call ordering him to close the factory] Come on, gimme a break, sweet pants, Vinnie's gotta make smoky links.
Richard the Rooster: [frantically] Gordy! Gordy, where are you?! GORDY! Gordy! Gordy, there you are!
Gordy: What's going on Richard? What's happening?
Richard the Rooster: Come quick, Gordy. Your dad's in danger. They're taking him away! Hurry!
Gordy: Danger? Daddy?
Richard the Rooster: Hurry Gordy! Hurry!
Gordy: Daddy, what you doing up there?
Daddy: Gordy!
Gordy: Daddy, where are you going?
Daddy: Get out of here! They might take you with me.
Gordy: Where are they taking you?
Daddy: Up north!
Gordy: Where's that?
Daddy: Same place they took my father. And he never came back.
Gordy: Oh, daddy! Yoinks!
Daddy: Listen to me, Gordy. It's up to you. You're the head of the family now!
Gordy: [tearfully] But daddy, you can't leave us!
Daddy: Promise me Gordy. Promise me you'll take care of mom and the kids.
Gordy: I promise, daddy.
Man: It's a hot one.
Daddy: Go on, Gordy. Run. Run!
Man: Shame to see a farm go under.
Man #2: Yep. He's a big'un. He'll bring a good price.
Man #1: Yep, the way things are, can't blame folks for selling their livestock. People need cash.
Man #2: Mm-hmm. Let's get outta here.
Gordy: [running after his father] Daddy! Daddy, come back! Come home, daddy! Please daddy, come back! Daddy! Don't leave us, daddy!
Daddy: Go back, Gordy, please, go back!
Gordy: Daddy!
Daddy: Go home, Gordy.
Gordy: Daddy!
Daddy: Remember Gordy! You promised me! Take care of the family!
Gordy: I promise! [sniffling]
Daddy: I love you, Gordy!
Gordy: [tearfully] I love you! [cries] Bye!
Jinnie Sue MacAllister: Hi there! Are you hungry? [hands Gordy's mother some lettuce] There you go. What are guys doing out here?
Cousin Jake: Hey Jinnie Sue! Time's a-wastin', gal. Come on.
Jinnie Sue MacAllister: Coming, Cousin Jake! Y'll take care. Bye!
