Graham Vivian Sutherland (24 August 190317 February 1980) was an English artist, who focused on the inherent strangeness of natural forms, and abstracting them, sometimes giving his work a surrealist appearance. He also painted many portraits. Winston Churchill hated his so much that he destroyed it.
