Hans Georg Dehmelt

Hans Georg Dehmelt (born September 9, 1922, in Görlitz, Germany) is a German-born American physicist, who co-developed the ion trap technique with Wolfgang Paul, for which they both received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1989.
