In this NST 2 that is about to be implemented, the number of jobs created will increase and we need to do more. If you look at the 2030 vision, we want to reduce unemployment to 7%, while in 2050 we will reach 5%. The current figures we have are 17%, down from 20% in 2023.
To make this possible, there are various policies in place, such as labor and the laws that govern it. We also strongly emphasize the on-the-job training policy because it greatly helps young people to learn in the labor market, because we tend to find obstacles where the skills graduates have are not in line with the needs of the labor market. About 65% of those who go through this on-the-job training program find jobs.
We find that we have achieved this goal by looking at the figures for last year, 2023, where we reached over 90%, that is, one million and 300 thousand, and you can see that at least over 80% of these jobs have been given to youth, so this gives us great confidence when you look at the efforts put in by various stakeholders.
