Joseph Sangval Surasarang (25 August 1935 – 10 February 2022) was a Thai prelate of the Catholic Church who served as the bishop of the Diocese of Chiang Mai.

This representation of the Church should not be underestimated or forgotten. It is time for Thai Catholics to begin to ask what they can do or what role they can play for the Church. The Thai Church will be more effective when each Thai Catholic forgets about what is in the association for himself and begins to think and act as a member of the group.
