Koo Kwang-ming

Koo Kwang-ming (辜寬敏; Gū Kuānmǐn; born 15 October 1926) is a politician in Taiwan (Republic of China). He is the member of Democratic Progressive Party.

  • Only 20 countries — whose populations are smaller than Taiwan's — in the world recognize the Republic of China (ROC). What is the meaning of their recognition of the ROC?
  • Taiwan cannot get rid of (Mainland) China's pressure in the international community due mainly to the current ROC Constitution, because it was not created by the people in Taiwan. The country needs a Taiwan-centric constitution that will enable it to return to the United Nations.
