Quotes
[edit]- [Here] we have the problem of Latin America. It is the problem of a bad start – religiously, politically, economically, and socially. We may add further that the Spanish Inquisition had the effect of developing a hard, ruthless character, and that this was reflected in Spain‘s treatment of her colonies. The Inquisition sanctified cruelty in the service of the Church.
