Mesut Özil, born 15 October 1988, is a German World Cup-winning midfielder who joined Arsenal from Real Madrid during the 2013 to 2014 English Premier League Season at a £42.4 Million Club Record Transfer Fee. Nicknamed Nemo because of his facial resemblance to a Pixar Cartoon character with the same name, he was the player with the Most Goal Assists in the whole of Europe at the time of his London move.
