[edit]- Well, it must be destiny. Good thing destiny does not control my love life.
- Yeah, he is kind of cute, you know. But you are forgetting something. They are musketeers. Commoners. Non-college bound. You know what that means.
- Your Majesty, it’s time to cut the cheese.
- Ah-ha. I do not think so.
- Well look at me. If it did, I did get stuck with mister… [imitating Donald]
Dialogue
[edit]- Minnie Mouse: Ah, Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Oh! Look, Daisy! Mickey and I have the same last name! [sighs happily]
- Daisy Duck: Well, it must be destiny. Good thing destiny doesn't control my love life.
- Minnie Mouse: Well, what'd you mean?
- Daisy Duck: Well, look at me. If it did, I'd get stuck with mister-- [imitates Donald's voice; both laugh]
- Minnie Mouse: Isn't it romantic, Daisy? Being protected by three dashing musketeers, and the little one is so handsome.
- Daisy Duck: Yeah, he is kinda cute, you know. But you're forgetting something. They're Musketeers. Commoners. Non-college bound. You know what that means.
- Minnie Mouse: Our love is...forbidden?
- Daisy Duck: Bingo.
- Minnie Mouse: A forbidden love. How romantic.
- Mickey Mouse: Donald, are you nuts? What's going on here?
- Donald Duck: Pete is going to kidnap Princess Minnie, so he can become king, and he's really a bad guy, and he has a secret lair and it's really dark and scary. So, the point is, he's going to kill us if we get in his way, so we should run now as far away as we can! [Pluto's tail droops.]
- Mickey Mouse: Donald, I can't understand a word you say.
- Donald Duck: No!
- Mickey Mouse: [after being carried by Donald] Hey! Hey! Put me down! Whoa! We can't leave our posts like this! What would Captain Pete say?
- Donald Duck: Captain Pete is the bad guy!
- Mickey Mouse: [shocked] Captain Pete is the bad guy? [jumps out of Donald's grip]
- Donald Duck: Huh? What?
- Mickey Mouse: Pete's trying to kidnap the princess?
- Donald Duck: Exactly!
- Mickey Mouse: But he-- He made us Musketeers.
- Donald Duck: It was all a lie.
- Mickey Mouse: A lie? Well, lie or no lie, Musketeers don't run from danger, and as long as we wear these uniforms, neither do we.
- Donald Duck: You said it! [rips uniform off] It's every duck for himself!
- Mickey Mouse: Donald, wait! Together, we can stop Captain Pete. Remember how we rescued the Princess?
- Donald Duck: I, uh, um... I was hiding.
- Mickey Mouse: Hiding? Well, tonight, you came back to warn us, and that took courage, Donald. [Donald looks at him sadly] Come on. I'll be right beside you, because we're friends. [Both look at each other]
- Donald Duck: [sadly] I just can't. I'm sorry. [runs away]
- Mickey Mouse: [run continues] Donald! [sadly] Donald.
- Peg Leg Pete: [to Mickey Mouse in a cage, mockingly singing "The Mickey Mouse Club Theme Song"] Hey, there! Hi, there! Ho, there! You're as welcome as can be! [Mickey angrily stares at Pete, who laughs and carries him to the dungeon while singing and walking to the entrance; drops Mickey into the dungeon] Oopsie.
- Mickey: Ouch.
- Peg Leg Pete: [mockingly] I am such a butterfingers. [laughs, climbs into the dungeon, and grabs Mickey]
- Mickey Mouse: Ah! Hey! Put me down! Don't make me have to whoop you!
- Peg Leg Pete: [starts chaining Mickey to the wall] Okay, okay, fine. Just hold still, ya runt!
- Mickey Mouse: Ah!
- Peg Leg Pete: [laughs evilly] Well, Mickey, it looks like this is the end of the line. [laughs]
- Mickey Mouse: Think so? My pals will be right behind us!
- Peg Leg Pete: Oh, sure. Uh-huh. The duck dumped you. Remember?
- Mickey Mouse: Well, Goofy then!
- Peg Leg Pete: The Goof? He's getting fitted for a halo.
- Mickey Mouse: [shocked] No. No. No.
- Peg Leg Pete: Yes. Yes, yes! [grabs Mickey] Face it, Mickey, it's all for one, and you...are on...your own! [drops Mickey onto the floor] Enjoy your brief stay here at the Mont Saint-Michel. You know, they say the tide comes in faster than horses! [Pete puts out a candle, darkening the dungeon] So long, runt. I've got me tickets to the opera. A little something called, I just Can't Wait To Be King! [closes dungeon door, leaving Mickey alone in the dark dungeon]
- Minnie Mouse: Just imagine. He'll stride into the room. Light will glow from him. I'll hear music. He'll bring me flowers. [flowers magically transform into butterflies]
- Minnie Mouse: And he'll sweep me off my feet. And I'll know he's the one, when he makes me laugh.
- Daisy Duck: A-A mere slip of the forked tongue, Minnie. We're in this plot together, if you don't mind my saying so. And remember, it was your idea I hypnotized her, and...
- Minnie Mouse: Ah-ah, I know. And sent her off on that crazy crusade.
- Daisy Duck: Much to the sorrow of Clarabelle Cow.
- Minnie Mouse: Yeah. Clarabelle. Clarabelle always did like Horace best.
- Daisy Duck: Minnie, please don't do that, if you don't mind my saying so. You see, you have a very loud thumb. Hypnotism can rid you of your psychosis-sis... so... easily. [Daisy Duck begins to hypnotized Minnie Mouse.]
- Minnie Mouse: No! None of that! None of that.
- Minnie Mouse: [singing] ♪ Nobody knows the trouble I've seen. Nobody knows my sorrow. ♪
- Daisy Duck: Oh, Minnie, do lighten up. [throws the signature pink bow out] Sing something with a little bounce in it.

- Daisy Duck: NO! No. Anything but that.
- Minnie Mouse: [singing] ♪ I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts. Dee-dee-dee-dee. There they are all standing in a row. ♪ [with Daisy] ♪ Big ones, small ones, some as big as your head. ♪ [to herself as Daisy continues] I would never have had to do this with Gadget Hackwrench.
- Daisy Duck: [angrily] WHAT?! What did you say?
- Minnie Mouse: Oh, nothing.
- Daisy Duck: You know the law: Never, ever mention that name in my presence. I am a duck!
- Minnie Mouse: [scared] Yes, Daisy, you are a duck. I-I-- Well, I only mentioned it to illustrate the differences in your royal managerial approaches.
