Mpho Kuaho
Mpho Kuaho is a Motswana fashion designer. Growing up in the northern Botswana mining town Phikwe, she was inspired by fashion magazines from South Africa and later studied clothing production in Mafikeng. She returned to Botswana where she created her own fashion line Jophes 09267, naming it after Botswana's dialing code and a nickname of her husband. She is also the organizer of Botswana's Colour in the Desert Fashion Week.

- German prints have always been a part of our culture. They were a prestigious dress code that was initially reserved for elders.
