My Little Pony: Equestria Girls (film)

My Little Pony: Equestria Girls is a 2013 flash animated fantasy musical film released as a part of Hasbro's toy line and media franchise of the same name, which is itself an anthropomorphized spin-off of the 2010 relaunch of the main My Little Pony franchise.

Dialogue

[Sunset was thinking about how to prevent Twilight from succeeding. She knew she wouldn't give up that easily and she needed to find a way to convince people to vote for her instead of Twilight. She soon heard something coming from her right and turn to see what it was. To her surprise, it was both Snips and Snails having somehow having gotten themselves covered and stuck together in bubble gum. Sunset figured these boys would have to do as she pulled out some scissors and snipped the long band of gum that was keeping the two together. The two boys fell to the ground as a result of being separated from the gum]

Snips: Uh.. Thanks?

Sunset Shimmer: Uh-huh, anyways, I would like to ask if you two would do me a little soild for me.

Snails: Uh, sure. What is it?

Sunset Shimmer: I want you both to follow Twilight Sparkle. Bring me something I can use against her so that I can win the Fall Formal for Princess Celestia.

[Snips and Snails saluted to Sunset]

Snips: You got it, Sunset Shimmer!

Sunset Shimmer: [Turn her back away from these two] When the crown and it's power are back in my protection, Twilight Sparkle will be sorry they ever set hoof in my world!... Not to mention that she would've been much safer if she'd stayed in Equestria....

[then, Sunset heard Snips and Snails' laughter from behind, shocked that they still there, Sunset turns back around]

Snips: Yeah. In Equestria.

Sunset Shimmer: WHAT ARE YOU STILL DOING HERE?! GO!!!!

[Sunset thrusts her finger in the left direction, demanding to Snips and Snails who do as they were told before bumping into each other and then finally heading off]

Sunset Shimmer: [sighs]Idiots......

Twilight Sparkle: [sighs] You see....

Human Pinkie Pie: [rapid fire] You’re from an alternate world and you’re a pony princess there and the crown actually has a magical element embedded in it that helps power up other magical elements and without it they don’t work anymore and you need them to help protect your magical world, and if you don’t get the crown tonight, you’ll be stuck in this world and you won’t be able to get back for like, a really, really long time! [squee]

[Twilight's jaw drops. and so does Spike's]

Human Rainbow Dash: Yeah. I’m pretty sure that isn’t the reason.

Spike: Nope, she’s pretty much spot on.

Human Rarity: HE CAN TALK?!?!

Spike: Oh, yeah. And back where I come from, I’m not even a dog! I’m a ferocious, fire-breathing dragon!

Human Fluttershy: [Shoves Rarity and Pinkie Pie aside] This...is...so...amazing! Tell me, what are you thinking right now?

[She smiles widely; Rarity's jaw drops]

Spike: Sure would love a scratch behind the old ears.

Human Rarity: Gah...

Spike: Uh...maybe later.

Twilight Sparkle: How did you know all that?

Human Pinkie Pie: Just a hunch.

[Fade in to a long shot of what used to the front entrance of Canterlot High as the newly recovered students gather cautiously at the top of the steps. From here, cut to a very long shot of the moon and tilt down to the statue and the lawn. The girls are sprawled out and mostly semiconscious, Applejack’s hat having fallen loose. Twilight is completely out, but the o.s. jingle of Spike’s collar marks his approach and he is soon on hand to lick her cheek, waking her up. Once she works herself to a sitting position, she smiles hugely and holds out her arms so he can jump up for a hug, Applejack has her hat back on, and Rainbow flies over. These five stare past Twilight in confusion mixed with a shot of fear; after a moment, she and Spike follow their gaze and have the same reaction. Cut to above the group and zoom out to frame a very large, very fresh, and very smoking crater right in front of them. After a searching gaze into the murk, Twilight moves to the edge of crater, with their friends right behind them. There, they saw a defeated Sunset Shimmer picking herself up off the ground, who's bruised, extinguished, and battered horribly]

Twilight Sparkle: You will never rule in Equestria! Any power you may have had in this world is gone! Tonight, you've shown everyone who you really are. You've shown them what is in your heart!

[Sunset Shimmer raised her head, angrier than they’ve ever seen her. She growled like an enraged animal, frustrated.]

Sunset Shimmer: So, WHAT?.... You're on the side of good now?!.... You made me this way, and YOU... get to be the princess and I don't?!

Twilight Sparkle: The magic of friendship doesn't just exist in Equestria, It's everywhere. You can seek it out, or you can forever be alone. [Sunset Shimmer starts growling angrily as she covering her ears] The choice is yours.

Sunset Shimmer: [Snaps in righteous fury, entering into another Villainous Breakdown territory] DON'T YOU GET IT?! [Punches Twilight's hand away from her] I'm NOT going to go mooching off your dumbass insubordinate whippersnapper-like friends and embrace some stupid, cheesy, cheapass PATHETIC friendship, AND I AM NEVER GOING TO GO WITH YOU!!!!

[Twilight Sparkle and her friends gasped at Sunset Shimmer's true color. Sunset Shimmer felt her body shaking and starts to uncontrollable laugh evilly and maniacally as she comes out of the crater, to Twilight's horror when she saw Sunset with bloodshot eyes after she snaps, Rarity passes out as a result.]

Sunset Shimmer: [Points a finger accusingly] You always have to go, and ruin my plans, [Turns her back away] don't you?!

[Sunset Shimmer turns back around, letting out a hostile scream, and leaps forward to attack Twilight Sparkle in a blind fit of jealous rage, who narrowly avoiding Sunset Shimmer's claws as she came tackling her to the ground. Sunset Shimmer lifted herself up, Twilight rolled out the way, dodging another one of her attack. As Twilight stood up, Sunset Shimmer came in for another swing as she angrily snarls, foaming at the mouth like an crazy psychopathic rapid dog. Twilight dodges it, but then she suddenly gets punched in the face by Sunset. Sunset delivers another strikes, but Twilight grabbed her wrist tightly, forcing her to stop]

Twilight Sparkle: [Upset] This is REALLY messed up, Sunset Shimmer! WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM WITH ME?!

Sunset Shimmer: YOU'RE THE ONE WITH THE FUCKING PROBLEM! YOU TOOK EVERYTHING FROM ME WHICH IS WORK TO RUIN MY LIFE, AND THIS IS WHO I AM TODAY, YOU BASTARD!!!!

[Sunset growled viciously and used her other hand to swipe at her face, but Twilight grabbed her by the waist and thrust her backwards]

Twilight Sparkle: Sunset Shimmer, this has to stop! This CAN'T be what you really wanted!

Sunset Shimmer: I, DON'T, CARE! I WON'T let you win! I'D RATHER DRIVE EVERYONE APART AND SHATTER THE WORLDS FRIENDSHIP FOR WORLD DOMINATION, THAN SEEKING IT OUT!!!!!

[Sunset tackling Twilight onto the ground, and glares at her as she lets out an psychopathic smile]

Sunset Shimmer: YOU broke my dreams! YOU DESTROYED my pouplarity! YOU took EVERYTHING from me! YOU put me out as if I was on FIRE! YOU RUIN my reputation, and turned me into A POPULAR HUMILITION! YOU MADE ME FOR WHO I AM TODAY, AND THIS IS ALL. YOUR. FAULT!!!

[Twilight stared back, heaving. Sunset was right, she really was right the whole time, Twilight herself didn't know the first thing about fitting in, until now, but Twilight Sparkle isn't to blame, as she begins to glare back at Sunset Shimmer]

Twilight Sparkle: No, it's NOT! [Pushes Sunset off of her as the crowd and her friends, Including Spike, began to cheer for her] I didn't let you put on that crown!

[Sunset Shimmer growled and jumped forward like an power crazed animal, attacking Twilight Sparkle again. Unfortunately, Twilight grabbed her arm]

Twilight Sparkle: I didn't make you do anything!

[Twilight throws Sunset Shimmer forward to the ground, Sunset hits the ground, next to the portal]

Twilight Sparkle: And I didn't drive everyone away, but I'm going to fix it! That's what the magic of friendship is all about!

[Sunset Shimmer got back up, panting heavily]

Twilight Sparkle: And you? You have officially made your own choice.

Sunset Shimmer: I'LL KILL YOU!!!!!

[Sunset Shimmer sprints forward in pure rage, ready to brutally attack Twilight, who lifted her arm up]

Twilight Sparkle: NOW LIVE WITH IT!!!!!!!

[Twilight thrusts her fist forward at Sunset as the latter let out a defeated blood curling scream as she felt a large amount of pain in her gut, as the screen fades to white]

Sunset Shimmer: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Spike: Those are my girls! Woo-hoo!

"Brawly Beats": [confusingly surprised along with the students] Did that dog just talk? Whoa. Weird.

Spike: Seriously? The talking dog is a weird thing about all this?

Human Rarity: I, for one, think you're adorable.

Spike: Oh, yeah.

[Last lines, after Twilight runs into Pony Flash Sentry]

Twilight Sparkle: Who is that?

Princess Cadence: He’s a new member of the castle guard. Flash Sentry, I think. Why? Do you know him?

Twilight: Not exactly.

Applejack: Ooooh, somepony’s got a crush on the new guy!

Twilight Sparkle: No. No, I don’t.

Rarity: (gasps) She does! She absolutely does!

Twilight Sparkle: Don’t be ridiculous. I don’t even know him. He just—

Pinkie Pie: (rapid fire) Totally reminds you of a guy you met in the other world who played guitar and was in a band and helped prove you didn’t destroy all the decorations for a big dance, so you could still run for Princess of the big dance, and then asked you to dance at that dance, Right?!

[Long pause]

Twilight Sparkle: How did you know that?

Pinkie Pie: Just a hunch.
