Pat Cummins

Patrick James Cummins (born May 8, 1993) is an Australian international cricketer who captains the Australian cricket team in Test and One Day International cricket. Under his captaincy Australia won the 2021-23 ICC Men's World Test Championship and 2023 ICC Men's Cricket World Cup.

- The Australian Cricket Team was playing the 2023 Men's Cricket World Cup Finals against India, who was also hosting the tournament. Cummins said the above when a reporter asked him how he and his team would deal with the fact that the entire stadium the following day would be wanting them (the Australian team) to fail. The following day, Australia won the match, thus winning the World Cup.
