Rajendra Kumar Pachauri (born 20 August 1940) is an Indian economist, environmental scientist, and civil servant, known as former chairman of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). He held the post from 2002 until his resignation in 2015, during which time the organization was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
