Star Wars: Clone Wars (2003–2005) is an American TV series, which aired on Cartoon Network, in which it depicts the opening and final battles of the Clone Wars, which leads directly into Revenge of the Sith.

Season 1

Chapter 1 [1.01]

Like fire, across the galaxy, the Clone Wars spread. In league with the wicked Count Dooku, more and more planets slip. Against this threat, upon the Jedi Knights falls the duty, to lead the army of the Republic. And, as the heat of war grows, so too grows the prowess of one most gifted student of the Force.

Obi-Wan Kenobi: My army is ready, Chancellor. We can leave immediately.

Obi-Wan Kenobi: Chancellor, I feel that Padawan Anakin is not yet ready for such responsibility.

Yoda: True, with his master, a Padawan's place is. But undeniably strong he has become. Perhaps...

Chancellor Palpatine: Then, it is decided.

Chapter 2 [1.02]

Anakin Skywalker: Master, I know you don't think I'm ready for a command of my own, but I am the best pilot in the Order. Chancellor Palpatine knows it. I don't know why you can't- [Obi-Wan cuts him off]

Obi-Wan Kenobi: Padawan! Your skills have never been in question; it is your maturity. I've argued this before, but the decision has been made. May the Force be with you... Commander.

Chapter 5 [1.05]

Yoda: Master Fisto, in these matters, trust your insight, we do. May the Force be with you.

Chapter 6 [1.06]

Asajj Ventress: The dark side is strong in me, for I am Sith!

Chapter 7 [1.07]

A bold claim, but you are not Sith. You wear the trappings of the Sith, you fight like the Sith, but this can be imitated, however. You lack a vital quality found in all Sith. Sith have no fear, and I sense much fear in you.

Season 2

Chapter 11 [2.01]

[Anakin's starship chases the mysterious rogue pilot in the streets of Muunilinst]

Obi-Wan: What was that?

ARC Captain: I don't know, General. [the rogue pilot's ship whooshes past Obi-Wan]

Obi-Wan: That's not one of ours.

ARC Captain: No, General. [Anakin's ship whooshes past Obi-Wan]

Obi-Wan: That was Anakin!

ARC Captain: Yes, General.

[Obi-Wan talks to Anakin via his communicator; unaware that Anakin's ship is being baited by Asajj Ventress]

Obi-Wan: Anakin, I'm also sensing something strange, but you must let that ship go! It's baiting you.

[R4 starts beeping to Anakin as his ship leaves Muunilinst's atmosphere]

Anakin: Jumping into hyperspace? You have his coordinates? [R4 beeps] Then plug them in! He's not losing us.

Obi-Wan: [shouts via ship's communicator] Anakin!

Anakin: Master, the battle up here is more than won. I can handle this.

Obi-Wan: Do not follow that ship! Anakin, do you hear me?! [Anakin's eyes slowly contort in anger] Do NOT follow that ship! That is an order! Anakin!

Anakin: [closes his eyes] Sorry, sir. Your signal is breaking up.

Obi-Wan: Padawan, if you—!

[Anakin cuts off communications with a button press as his starship follows Ventress's ship through hyperspace. A furious Obi-Wan turns to the ARC Captain for new orders]

Obi-Wan: You have the coordinates?

ARC Captain: Yes, General.

Obi-Wan: Take a squad and follow him. [Kenobi watches the CR-20 troop carrier jump into hyperspace] I've got a bad feeling about this.

Chapter 14 [2.04]

Luminara Unduli: The crystal is the heart of the blade. The heart is the crystal of the Jedi. The Jedi is the crystal of the Force. The Force is the blade of the heart. All are intertwined. The crystal, the blade... the Jedi. You are one. [Barriss activates her completed lightsaber]

Barriss Offee: You have taught me well, [bows] Master Luminara.

Luminara Unduli: Remember always...

Barriss Offee: The crystal is the heart of the blade.

Luminara Unduli: Barriss Offee, your training is complete. [...] Something trespasses on sacred ground. The temple is breached.

Chapter 17 [2.07]

[Ventress has just killed Anakin's troops and destroyed his ship]

Anakin Skywalker: I'm going to make you pay for what you've done!

Asajj Ventress: Come, Padawan. Your fall will be my ascension to the Sith.

Chapter 20 [2.10]

Jedi! You are surrounded. Your armies decimated. Make peace with the Force now, for this is your final hour. But know that I, General Grievous, am not complete without mercy. I will grant you a warrior's death. Prepare!

[Anakin returns to apologise to Obi-Wan for disobeying his orders]

Anakin Skywalker: I'm sorry, Master. You were right. It was a trap laid out by the Sith... and I ran headlong into it. But I emerged victorious.

Obi-Wan Kenobi: Indeed, but that battle should never have been fought. I find the Sith's interest in you most troublesome. This is precisely why you must follow my orders, young one. Another defiance could lead us into a date- [gets interrupted by a sudden transmission]

Daakman Barrek: General Kenobi! General Kenobi?!

Obi-Wan Kenobi: Yes, Master Barrek.

Daakman Barrek: Need immediate evac from planet Hypori! Our forces are totally destroyed! Only, only a few of us left! New droid general! He's unstoppable! Can't hold out for long! General Grievous is hunting us! Must hurry! [Transmission cuts off]

Season 3

Chapter 21 [3.01]

Grievous: Run, Jedi, run. You have only prolonged the inevitable.

I wonder how many they'll send. We've got so much firepower in here, these walls are ray-shielded. Heh, they can't take this fort. It'll probably be, uh, fifty Jedi! They'll need at least that many. Or maybe a hundred Jedi! They'll never take this base with less! Heh, they'll need an army of Jedi! Ha-ha-ha...

General Oro Dassyne: I wonder how many they'll send. We've got so much firepower in here, these walls are ray-shielded. Heh, they can't take this fort. It'll probably be, uh, fifty Jedi! Battle Droid: I have a visual.

Dassyne: Jedi?

Battle Droid: No, sir.

Dassyne: What, fifty?

Battle Droid: Less.

Dassyne: Forty? Come on! How many?

Battle Droid: Two.

Dassyne: What? Gimme those!

[Count Dooku trains Grievous some attacks]

Count Dooku: Stop using the standard attacks. Use the unorthodox.

[Grievous uses his legs to hold the saber as the unorthodox bladework]

Count Dooku: How often must I tell you? Control my central line!

[Grievous makes Count Dooku dodge by slashing vertically]

Count Dooku: Good.

[Grievous runs toward Count Dooku, Count Dooku uses his force ability to make Grievous losing control by sliding towards barrels, Grievous continues the attack]

Count Dooku: Faster, destroy my focus. You're holding the saber too tight!

[Count Dooku makes Grievous disarm the saber, taking it]

Count Dooku: Now, too lightly. [inspecting a new saber] Hmm, a new one?

Grievous: [disarms the green saber] Your training have served me well. It has rewarded me many trophies.

Count Dooku: Don't let your pursuit of trinkets cloud your reality. Remember what I taught you, general: If you want to succeed in combat against the best of the jedi, you must have fear, surprise and intimidation on your side. What if any one element is lacking? It would be best for you to retreat. You must break them before you engage them. [closes his eyes] Only then, when you ensure victory, [gives Grievous the saber back with his force ability] and have your trophy.

[Grievous takes the saber back. The hologram Darth Sidious appears]

Darth Sidious: Wise counsel, my apprentice. Most wise.

Count Dooku: My master. [bows]

Darth Sidious: Report, general. What's the new from the front?

Grievous: The strategy is working perfectly, my lord. The jedi and the forces are stretched thin across the Outer Rim worlds. In the vain of attempt to contain a new offensive.

[The hologram Darth Sidious walks in front]

Darth Sidious: Good, good. Now is the time to strike. Now is the time to launch a final operation. Is everything ready for your special mission?

Grievous: Yes, lord Sidious. The unsuspecting fools will knock our waits.
